"Wedge" design loft beds
Economical, quick installation, and very strong

This loft is a "wedge" loft bed, which means it was build into two adjacent walls that form a 90-degree angle. The bed features 8" trim on the edges, a standard ladder with 3 1/2" step depth, and a 15 degree lean. These beds are ideal, leaving the entire space under the bed uninterrupted for maximum wall use.
FYI: A 15 degree ladder angle makes climbing onto the loft easier and safer.

Free Standing (with legs):
This one is a free-standing loftbed designed to span the smallest apartment I've ever seen. What you see in this pic is the entire place!
What we did was figure out a height that is suitable for walking under while still allowing enough space above. Extra beams (visible on the underside) were added since the loft would be bearing over 1/2 ton of weight. These beams can be left visible, or a wood covering can be placed over them for looks.
The ladder is a 5/4 design with rungs spaces 16" apart. Typically the rungs are spaces 14" apart, but the customer wanted a bit more space between them. This is a fine example of a very simple free-standing bed customized for an apartment.
"Spanning" loft:
This beauty is a loft bed wedged between two walls, with space underneath with custom storage cubes and a dresser. Heights can be customized.
In this instance, there was a gap left between the backside of the wall and the window to allow the window to be accessed for opening and closing.
Remember, safety is our priority; Our loftbeds cannot be installed where they would block means of egress (ie. fire escapes etc...) We hold our standards to NYC building Dept. standards.
Below is another spanning platform for a complete extra bedroom

These two photos are of a long span loft, with enough room allowed for a bed, and through platform access.
The loft is 14 feet across and is built directly into the walls by utilizing the building own hidden framework. The underside is finished, which hides the framework and adds to it's good looks.
In addition, the loft features 12" trim
and a full-spanning guard rail for safety. The stairs are built at a 60 degree angle, allowing for a stair-like feel. This is a prime example of our premium "spanning" design that utilize the walls for support.
